Announcement

IAOM EURASIA 2026

With a 130-year history, the International Association of Operative Millers (IAOM) is the world’s largest non-profit professional association for the grain milling industry, bringing together millers and trade representatives to advance education, technology, and international cooperation. Through its ten directorates in the United States and four international directorates, IAOM serves as a global platform for innovation, professional exchange, and industry development.

IAOM Eurasia represents 32 countries with a population exceeding 2 billion and a combined economy of USD 7.1 trillion. The region includes the world’s leading wheat producers and flour exporters, such as Russia, Kazakhstan, Türkiye, Ukraine, and the European Union. Russia alone accounts for nearly 10% of global wheat production, while Kazakhstan, Türkiye, Ukraine, and EU member states play a critical role in regional and global grain supply chains.

The IAOM Eurasia Directorate was established in 2019 and has since organized highly successful international conferences. Eurasian Region of IAOM consists of 32 countries with more than 2 billion of population and a total of 7.1 trillion dollars economic magnitude. At the same time, world’s largest wheat producers and flour exporters are situated in this region.

In this context, we have planned to facilitate the participation of millers from Central and Eastern Europe, Baltic Countries, Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Turkey and other Central Asian Republics and Caucasus region countries where intense participation is expected. In addition, participations are expected from the USA, Middle East and Africa Regions. This conference and exhibition will bring together many sector stakeholders such as Grain, Flour, Pasta, Bulgur and Feed Producers and their suppliers and vendors such as Milling Machinery Suppliers, Laboratory Equipment Suppliers, Traders, Ingredients Suppliers, Packaging Companies, Grain Storage Companies, Yiest Companies, Bakery Products Firms, Industrial Bread Bakers, Research Institutes and Colleges & Universities.

We are pleased to inform you that IAOM Eurasia plans to organize its 5th IAOM Eurasia Conference and Exhibition in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, in September 2026. The currently envisaged dates are 28–29 September 2026, and the conference venue in Tashkent will be the Intercontinental Hotel.

Flour production holds a unique cultural, economic, and strategic importance in Uzbekistan. With a strong milling industry that supplies the domestic market and exports flour to neighboring countries, largely based on wheat sourced from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan represents an ideal regional hub for a high-level grain and milling platform.

Conference languages will be Turkish, Uzbek, English, and Russian. Further information is available at www.iaom-eurasia.info.

Yours sincerely,
